Terms
These terms cover your use of Hedwig. By signing in, you agree to them. "We" means the people who run Hedwig.
The service
Hedwig shows and manages the Gmail and Google Calendar accounts you connect. Access is by invitation, and Hedwig is free during the invite period.
We may change, pause, or end the service. Before we end it, we'll email you and give you time to export your data.
Your account
Connect only accounts you're allowed to use, and keep your devices and Google accounts secure.
You're responsible for what you send and change through Hedwig. Changes are made in your real Gmail and Google Calendar.
Acceptable use
Don't use Hedwig to send spam or unlawful content, to reach accounts that aren't yours, or to probe, overload, or break the service. We may suspend access that does.
Your data
Your mail, events, and contacts remain yours. Hedwig uses them only to provide the service, as the Privacy page describes.
AI features
Summaries, drafts, and sorting come from a language model and can be wrong. Check them before you rely on them. Hedwig never sends a draft without you.
Billing
Hedwig with AI costs $15 a month, charged each month from the day you subscribe.
You can cancel anytime. It takes effect at the end of the paid month, and AI stays on until then. There are no partial refunds for a month already paid.
The 7-day trial needs no card. It starts only when you choose it, can be claimed once per person, and ends with AI simply turning off. Nothing is charged.
The price only changes with at least 30 days' notice.
No warranty
Hedwig is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Your mail and events stay in Google, which remains the source of truth.
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for Hedwig in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending
You can delete your Hedwig account at any time in Settings, under Data. We may end access that breaks these terms.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll post the new version here and tell you in Hedwig before it applies.
